Energizer CR2 Lithium 3 Volt Batteries
Energizer CR2 batteries are lithium/manganese dioxide (Li/MnO2) batteries primarily used in cameras, laser pointers, and other compact, high-drain electronic devices. They are also known by alternative names such as CR17355 in IEC standards.
These batteries are equivalent in size and voltage to no comparable size, as the CR2 is specifically designed for particular electronics. However, CR2 batteries are lithium batteries with a significantly longer charge capacity compared to alkaline batteries, though at a higher price point.
Energizer CR2 batteries operate with a standard voltage of 3 volts and have a termination voltage of around 2.0 volts. Their capacity is 800mAh, and they measure approximately 27 mm in height and 15.6 mm in diameter.
These batteries function effectively in a temperature range of -40°C to +60°C, though they should be stored at temperatures below 25°C.
