Energizer Alkaline D batteries are Alkaline batteries primarily used in high-drain devices, such as large flashlights, portable radios, and motorized toys. They are also known by alternative names such as LR20, MN1300, and AM1. These batteries are equivalent in size and voltage to other D batteries. However, D rechargeable batteries are Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries with a significantly longer charge capacity, though at a higher price point.
