SAFT 26500 batteries are high-performance lithium thionyl chloride primary batteries designed for demanding applications such as industrial equipment, remote sensors, and medical devices. Also known as 26500 lithium batteries, SAFT 26500 batteries are recognized for their high energy density and long lifespan.
Operating with a standard voltage of 3.6 volts, the SAFT 26500 batteries have a termination voltage of approximately 2.0 volts. They offer a capacity of around 4,000mAh and measure 26.5 x 50.0mm.
These batteries are effective within a wide temperature range of -55°C to +85°C, although they should be stored at temperatures below 30°C. The chemical composition of SAFT 26500 batteries is lithium thionyl chloride (Li/SOCl2). In the industry, they may also be referred to as SAFT Lithium 26500 or SAFT 26500 Lithium.
