GI 9V Super Heavy Duty batteries are high-quality zinc-carbon primary batteries engineered for reliable power in various electronic devices such as smoke detectors, remote controls, and alarm systems. Known for their dependable performance and cost-effectiveness, these batteries are also recognized by alternative names such as 6LR61, 9V Super Heavy Duty, and 1604A.
Operating with a standard voltage of 9 volts, GI 9V Super Heavy Duty batteries have a termination voltage of approximately 6 volts. They feature a capacity of around 550mAh and measure 48.5 x 26.5 x 17.5mm.
These batteries perform effectively within a temperature range of -20°C to +54°C, although it is recommended to store them at temperatures below 30°C. The chemical composition of GI 9V Super Heavy Duty batteries is (-) Zn (+) MnO2. In the industry, they are commonly referred to as GI 9V Alkaline or GI 9V Battery.
